On Coordination of Smart Grid and Cooperative Cloud Providers

Cooperative cloud providers in the form of federations can potentially reduce their energy costs by exploiting electricity price fluctuations across different locations. In this environment, on one hand, has a significant influence formed, and, thus, profit earned providers, and other cooperation an inevitable impact performance smart grid. regard, interaction between independent grid is modeled as two-stage Stackelberg game interleaved with coalitional article. game, first stage grid, leader chooses proper pricing mechanism to maximize its own profit. second stage, cooperatively manage workload minimize costs. Given dynamic federation formation process, optimization model based constrained Markov decision process (CMDP) been used achieve optimal policy. Numerical results show that proposed solution yields around 28% 29% improvement average for respectively, compared noncooperative scheme.
